You can send drawings and get back a written scope with an itemised price, or you can send an address and get back the approvals route for it. Both are documents, both are free, and neither obliges you to use us.
Both free, neither obliging
For anyone with drawings, a unit number or a space we can look at.
A written scope stating what is included, what is excluded and what we could not establish without opening something up, plus a price with a quantity, a rate and a total against every line. You can put it next to any other contractor's price and compare them item by item, which is the point of producing it that way.
Turnaround: three working days from the site visit.
For anyone who has not started, and particularly anyone who has not built in Dubai before.
Which authority approves work at your address, which NOCs apply, what has to happen in what order, and roughly how long each step takes. Mainland goes to Dubai Municipality, the TECOM areas to DDA, Nakheel communities and the port zones to Trakhees, and the difference matters more than most people expect.
Turnaround: two working days.
Neither of these commits you to anything. We would rather you used them to check the contractor you have already chosen than not have them at all.
Construction enquiry
A sentence is fine. If you have a scope already, attach it instead. We do not need the full address to tell you which authority you are dealing with.
A person reads it, usually within four hours on a working day.
We reply with either the document you asked for, or a short list of what we need in order to produce it.
If a site visit is needed we propose two times. The visit is free and there is no charge if you then go elsewhere.
You get the scope and the itemised price in writing.
Then nothing, unless you come back to us. We follow up once, after two weeks, and that is the end of it.
If at any point you would rather we stopped, say so once and we will.
Two other doors
Tile masons, plasterers, gypsum installers, block masons, steel fixers, carpenters, painters, electricians, plumbers, HVAC and MEP technicians. Tell us the trade, the numbers, the site and the dates.
